Nicki Minaj’s Roman Reloaded Pushed Back to April
Shortly after dropping her colorful Hype Williams-directed video for single “Stupid Hoe,” off her upcoming Pink Friday: Roman ReloadedLP, Nicki Minaj took to Twitter to announced her sophomore album has been pushed back.
“New Album Date: April 3rd. Pink Friday: ROMAN RELOADED. But have no fear. Tons of suprises before then . Love Always, HB,” Nicki tweeted on Friday (January 20).
Additionally, Nicki Minaj tweeted a couple of her upcoming tour dates, including, “London the 19th-25th. Paris 26th, 27th. Berlin on the 28th. Tokyo: March 1st-4th.”
The Harajuku Barbie is scheduled to perform at the Grammy Awards on Feb. 12, which would have been two days before her original street date of Feb. 14. Much like the release date of her 2010 debut album, Pink Friday, which was released on Black Friday, Feb. 14 is one of the music industry’s biggest sales days, according to Hollywood Reporter.
Nicki Nick is also scheduled to take part in Madonna’s Super Bowl performance on Feb. 5, along with M.I.A., which she raps about on “Stupid Hoe.” Watch the video below:
